Rotary Club of Coimbatore East conferred the Rotary’s prestigious award “Eminent Personality of the Decade” to Dr.Thavamani D Palaniswami, Vice Chairman, KMCH on 9th March 2014.

Best Doctor Award given to Dr. Nalla G Palaniswami by Indian Medical Association Coimbatore branch on the Doctors’ Day function held on 18th August 2013 at Coimbatore. Coimbatore District Collector Dr.M. Karunakaran I.A.S. is presenting a shawl to our Chairman.

Lifetime Achievement Award conferred on Dr. Nalla G Palaniswami by Tamil Nadu state IMA on the eve of Doctors’ Day Function held on 27th July 2013 at Chennai.

Kongu Maamani Award has been conferred to Dr. Nalla G Palaniswami for rendering yeomen service to the community. This award was given by Chennai Kongu Nanbargal Sangam on 28th July 2013.

Dr.Thavamani D. Palaniswami, is conferred the Life Time Achivement Award by Dr.M.G.R Medical University, Chennai. Dr. V.S.Vijay Honorable Minister for Health his presenting the award to Vice Chairman of KMCH.

Dr.Thavamani D. Palaniswami, Vice Chairman of Kovai Medical Center and Hospital, Coimbatore, was conferred The Hindu’s ‘Women of the Year’ award . The award is to honour a woman of substance in commemoration of the International Women’s Day.

India Healthcare Awards – 2014

Kovai Medical Center and Hospital has won India Healthcare Awards 2014 jointly instituted by CNBC TV18 & ICICI Lombard in the category Best Multi-Specialty hospital – Non metro. This was the second time since the introduction of the India Healthcare Awards jointly instituted by CNBC TV18 & ICICI Lombard in its fifth Year.

The esteemed jury that helped select India’s finest healthcare providers are: Kewal Handa – Chairman, Medybiz Pharma; D G Shah – Secretary General, Indian Pharmaceutical Alliance; Vaidheesh A – Vice president, Government affairs, Asia-Pacific, Johnson & Johnson USA; Dr. Ramakanta Panda – Founder, Asian Heart Hospital and Dr, Sudarshan Ballal – Medical Director, Manipal Health Enterprises Pvt. Ltd.

This Award was given by Shri Shripad Yasso Naik, Minister of State for Health & Family Welfare at a glittering function held at Taj Palace Hotel (Shah Jehan Hall), Sardar Patel Marg, Diplomatic Enclave, New Delhi on 8th June, 2015.

KMCH WINS ‘INDIA’S BEST MULTISPECIALITY HOSPITAL’ AWARD

Kovai Medical Center and Hospital, a reputed 894-bed multi-super specialty hospital, has bagged the “Best Hospital Award” – Non Metro South India category at the recently held India Healthcare Awards 2012 (3rd Edition) at Delhi. The Award is instituted by ICICI Lombard Health Insurance and CNBC-TV18.

The jury comprises of eminent industrialists and luminaries, while the award recognizes stellar institutions and professionals for excellence in the healthcare industry.

Mr. Annaswamy Vaidheesh, Vice president, Government affairs, Asia-Pacific for Johnson&Johnson USA, Dr. Ramakanta Panda, Vice Chairman – Asian Heart Hospital, Mr. Kewal Handa, Chairman, Medybiz Pharma, Mr. D G Shah – Secretary General, Indian Pharmaceutical Alliance, Co-Chairman, National Pharmaceuticals Committee, FICCI and Dr.S K Sarin -Director & Sr. Professor and Head of Dept of Hepatology Institute of Liver and Biliary sciences were the members of the jury for the HEALTHCARE AWARDS 2011-12.

The presentation was held in a glitzy function held at Hotel Oberoi, New Delhi. Shri Montek Singh Ahluwalia, Deputy Chairman, Planning Commission of India presented the award to Dr Nalla G Palaniswami, Chairman, Kovai Medical Center and Hospital.

Healthcare Excellence in Nursing

Awarded Healthcare Excellence in Nursing for the year 2014-15 by the Association of Healthcare Providers (India) (AHPI) in February 2015.
