KMCH WINS ‘INDIA’S BEST MULTISPECIALITY HOSPITAL’ AWARD
Kovai Medical Center and Hospital, a reputed 894-bed multi-super specialty hospital, has bagged the “Best Hospital Award” – Non Metro South India category at the recently held India Healthcare Awards 2012 (3rd Edition) at Delhi. The Award is instituted by ICICI Lombard Health Insurance and CNBC-TV18.
The jury comprises of eminent industrialists and luminaries, while the award recognizes stellar institutions and professionals for excellence in the healthcare industry.
Mr. Annaswamy Vaidheesh, Vice president, Government affairs, Asia-Pacific for Johnson&Johnson USA, Dr. Ramakanta Panda, Vice Chairman – Asian Heart Hospital, Mr. Kewal Handa, Chairman, Medybiz Pharma, Mr. D G Shah – Secretary General, Indian Pharmaceutical Alliance, Co-Chairman, National Pharmaceuticals Committee, FICCI and Dr.S K Sarin -Director & Sr. Professor and Head of Dept of Hepatology Institute of Liver and Biliary sciences were the members of the jury for the HEALTHCARE AWARDS 2011-12.
The presentation was held in a glitzy function held at Hotel Oberoi, New Delhi. Shri Montek Singh Ahluwalia, Deputy Chairman, Planning Commission of India presented the award to Dr Nalla G Palaniswami, Chairman, Kovai Medical Center and Hospital.
