Dr.Nithyanand C has specialised himself in Head and Neck Oncology which deals with cancers of the oral cavity, oropharynx ,larynx, pharynx and paranasal sinuses and skull base. He completed his masters In Oto-rhinolaryngolgy from Kasturba medical college, Manipal from where he was awarded the "Best Outgoing Student" and university topper of his batch. He acquired specialist training in Skull base surgery and head and neck surgery for a short duration Christian Medical College,Vellore He completed two years of Senior residency in St.Johns Medical college and Hospitals, Bangalore the department of otorhinolaryngology. He pursued his Mch Head And Neck Oncology from prestigious Tatamemorial Hospital, Mumbai. During his residency period he was extensively involved in management of head and neck cancers. He has performed more than 600 surgery during his tenure which includes cancers for all subsites. He received the "Gold Medal in Head and Neck oncology" in TATA memorial Hospital, during his tenure. He was working as the Assistant Professor in the Department of Head and Neck Oncology surgical services at Tata memorial Hospital Mumbai till 2022. He has got Multiple publications in highly indexed journals in Head And Neck Oncology.
