Dr. Rajaveu graduated from MGR Medical University in 1994 and underwent Orthopaedic postgraduate training (MS) in Manipal University between 1995-1998. After passing MCh in UK (2002), he worked as Joint Replacement and Arthroscopy surgeon in England until 2015. He has obtained FRCS (Trauma & Orthopedics). After 15 years in UK he joined KMCH in 2015 as Consultant and was given additional responsibility as Medical Director since 2019.

2002 - “A prototype plug to aid screw fixation in osteoporotic bone” was awarded the highest mark for Research Project among 21 candidates during MCh degree course, University of Dundee, UK. 1998- “Analysis of Supracondylar-Intercondylar fractures of the distal Femur” Dissertation accepted by MAHE (Manipal Academy of Higher Education) University as partial fulfilment for the award of MS degree in Orthopaedics.

2014 - “8-Plate in angular deformities of Knee- Our experience” was awarded first prize for podium presentation in CPOC- Coimbatore Paediatric Orthopaedic Conference, India. 2014 - “DVT in Foot and Ankle Surgery” won the best audit Project option award. 2013, 2014 Jan, 2014 May, 2014 Dec- “Excellent Medical Student feedback award” from Director of Undergraduate Medical Education, LTHTR, University of Manchester. 2009 - “Hip injections under Image Intensifier and arthrogram. Were you in the joint?” Won the best audit paper presentation in North West Orthopaedic Association Scientific Meeting, Manchester. 2008 - I was awarded an Incremental (Discretionary) point in appreciation of my high-quality contribution to the trust.
