With these core elements Pediatric Neurology unit at KMCH has evolved as the first of its kind in this region ,to care for children (< 18 years age) with disorders and emergencies of the brain,spinal cord,nerves and muscle.
The Pediatric Neurology unit at KMCH deals with all neurological problems of children with special focus on childhood epilepsy,Developmental delay,pediatric movement disorders,pediatric stroke,neuromuscular disorder,neurometabolic and neurogenetic disorders.We have a pediatric ICU to take care of neurological emergencies like refractory status epilepticus,coma and metabolic crisis.
