It comprises of three consultants, one clinical counselor, one sleep technician and two bronchoscopy technicians.

Department has been a forerunner in the field of intervention pulmonology, was the first to procure endobronchial ultrasound in south east Asia in 2008. We were among the forerunners to start medical thoracoscopy with flexirigid thoracoscope in south India in 2010. We have extensive experience with therapeutic rigid bronchoscopic procedures for both benign and malignant tracheobronchial obstructions including debulking, use of electrocautery snare, argon plasma coagulation, silicone dumon stents, Montgomery tube and self-expanding metallic stent placement.
