Underwent general surgical training in Madras Medical College and surgical oncology training in Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai, which is a globally renowned cancer centre. Underwent laparoscopic training in the UK. Trained at National Cancer Centre Singapore in the management of advanced cancers arising from the bowel and ovary.
