Dr. Firoz Rajan obtained his MBBS & MS ( Gen surgery ) degrees from the prestigious JIPMER, Pondicherry in 1991 and 1995, respectively. MCh. (Surgical Oncology ) super specialization obtained from Cancer Institute , Adyar in 1999.

Experience

Dr. Firoz Rajan has more than 18 years experience exclusively in the field of Surgical Oncology.
We has worked as resident in surgical oncology at Kidwai Memorial Institute of Oncology, Bangalore in 1996.
Following his MCh, he has worked as a consultant in surgical oncology at the Regional Cancer Center, Trivandrum from 1999 to 2003.
From 2003- 2012, he was the consultant surgical oncologist at the Medical Trust Hospital, Kochi.

Special Areas of Interest

Dr. Firoz Rajan is well experienced to undertake cancer surgeries of the Head and Neck , Gastro intestinal tract, Gynaecological malignancies including Breast cancer surgeries, Bone and soft tissue cancers including major amputations like forequarter and hind quarter amputations.
His special interest are limb salvage surgeries for bone and soft tissue tumours including internal hemipelvectomy , Breast conservation surgeries , breast reconstruction and Heated intra peritoneal chemoperfusion (HIPEC ) for Peritoneal surface malignancies, Ovarian cancer , Pseudomyxoma peritonii etc.
