Visiting A Patient
Only one person will be permitted to stay with each patient. (For surgical cases an additional attendant will be permitted a day prior to the surgery and for a period of 24 hours, and after surgery, thereafter will the consent of the consultant.) For gynecology cases, an additional attendant will be permitted until the time of delivery. An additional attendant may be permitted for pediatric cases (below 5 years) and for patients in ‘A’ class room (suite) an additional attendant may be permitted. Patient attendants are advised to stay always with the patient inside the rooms and not to sit or lay down in the corridors. Additional attendants will be permitted on chargeable basis at 50% of the room rent per person. Any loss of personal property in the hospital premises should be reported immediately to the hospital security *(Intercom No. 04224323624) which works round the clock in the hospital.

- Inpatient Wards
- Visitors are permitted between 6:00 AM and 7:00 PM.
- After 7:00 PM, entry is restricted and only attendants holding a valid Attender Pass will be allowed to stay with the patient.
- Visitors are requested to:
- Adhere to the designated visiting hours.
- Leave the room while patients are being examined or treated by doctors and nurses.
- Follow hospital safety and infection control guidelines at all times.
- Critical Care Unit Visiting Hours
- ICU (Intensive Care Unit) & NIC (Neonatal Intensive Care Unit): 6:30 AM – 7:30 AM and 12:30 PM – 1:30 PM.
- CCU (Coronary Care Unit): 6:00 AM – 7:00 AM and 10:30 AM – 11:30 AM.
- To ensure uninterrupted patient care and recovery, visitors are kindly requested to strictly adhere to the above visiting hours.
Patients & Visitors
During their stay, patients will receive interim bills periodically. These bills should be settled within two days of issuance. Any advance deposit paid at the time of admission will be adjusted against the final bill at the time of discharge.
All inpatient bill payments can be made at the Inpatient Billing Counter. The hospital generally does not permit total outstanding dues to exceed ₹5,000. If the outstanding amount exceeds ₹10,000, any prescribed medicine or consumable with a value greater than ₹500 may need to be purchased directly by the patient from the KMCH Pharmacy.

Patient attendants can conveniently order food and have it delivered directly to the patient's room. Orders may be placed by scanning the QR code displayed inside the room or by calling the following Intercom numbers: 3746, 3733, 3744, or 3125.

To ensure patient safety, infection control, and dietary compliance, outside food is not permitted inside the hospital premises unless specifically approved by the treating doctor.
